David Latvaaho, MCR Mr. Latvaaho has forty-plus years of senior-level real estate experience on a national and international stage. His diversity of experience includes eight years as National Director of Real Estate for General Mills, Senior Managing Director of the Midwest region, Vice President, and Founder of the Corporate Services Group at Cushman & Wakefield.
Mr. Latvaaho has served as the Managing Director of two national real estate auction firms where his primary responsibilities included: representing high profile clients, identifying auction opportunities, then managing development and implementation of the auction strategy, marketing plan, then following the project through to auction day and closing.
He is one of the first 100 executives to earn the prestigious MCR (Master of Corporate Real Estate) designation from CoreNet Global, the world's largest group of corporate real estate executives, Mr. Latvaaho remains active in CoreNet. He also served as President of the Minneapolis chapter of NACORE (National Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives).
While a Minnesota resident, he was appointed by the governor to serve a four-year term on the State Board of Education. He was selected the "Outstanding Minnesota Park Commissioner of the Year" by the Minnesota Parks and Recreations Association and was elected three times as Chairman of the Board of the Minnesota/Hennepin County Parks Commission, serving a total of six years in the position.
He is a published author and is regularly invited to write articles for a variety of trade publications. In addition, he is a frequent speaker at national and international real estate conferences.
He is licensed in numerous states as a real estate broker and is a member of the Urban Land Institute. He is an active participant in the Arts, as well as the community, as a member of The Chicago Arts Club, The Art Institute of Chicago, and The Gainey Ranch Country Club.
He is a member of the National Association of Realtors and holds real estate licenses in numerous states.
